NC to spend Rs10.2 million for meals during convention

Mar 2, 2016- The Nepali Congress has estimated a budget of Rs 10.2 million for the meals to the participants of the national convention which is being held in Kathmandu from March 3 to 6. 

Organising a press meet at party central office, Sanepa, Lalitipur on Wednesday, the accommodation management committee coordinator and central member Bal Bahadur KC said the committee will arrange a square of meal for three days for nearly 3500 delegates.

He further shared that the participants can chose any of the meals vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Fish is also added in the dish.

Similarly, for the lodging, the party is likely to spend Rs 22 million.

For the lodging, a total of 127 hotels- from Thamel, Gaushala, Sundhara and Bagbazar- are booked. However, those from the Kathmandu Valley will not get lodging facility. RSS
