Archana Paneru Is To Debut On Silver Screen & Here’s Why I’m Speechless!

The social media sensation, Archana Paneru, is all set to make a debut on silver screen. The Mahendra Nagar girl had instantly risen to popularity few months back when she announced on social media that she wants to be a pornstar. Supported by her parents, she aims to become a professional pornstar. She along with her mother, Sunita Paneru, were even taken into custody by the police for posting nudes on various social media platforms.

Archana has been signed for a film titled ‘Jism’. The film is to be directed by ‘Bindaas 3’ director Raju Giri and will go on floor this week. I don’t want to be mean and I wish the team all the best but there’s something which just can’t stop bothering me. At the time when the Nepalese Film Industry actually seems to be rising with some realistic cinema and actors who are good at what they do; this news is something that makes me feel uneasy. This girl who is hardly 17, doesn’t even know what a pornstar does. Like seriously! In an interview, she actually said that, “I want to be a pornstar but I don’t want to have sex.” That sums it all up. I mean, a girl so young who doesn’t know what she is talking about, is signed for a big budget film just because she is popular on social media because her mother had this strange idea that she wants her daughter to be a pornstar and started posting her nudes all over the internet. No audition, no nothing and boom, you are an actress!

I am not against her or her dreams, but being a huge admirer of the Nepalese Film Industry and a true well wisher; something just doesn’t look right here. If I knew Archana personally, I would just advice her to at least finish her school first and then be a porn star or a rocket scientist, do anything you would like to do.

“Putra Kuputra Bhaye, Mata Kumata Na Hoye ” which means “a son may go awry but a mother cannot become anything other than a mother” is an excerpt from Mahabharata but I am very doubtful of this thought now. I am afraid when Archana grows up and gains some sense, she is going to spit on her mother’s face. I am not being judgmental or anything and I don’t want to be an ass**** to say sh** about other people; but this is what I actually think. Anyways, watch an interview of Jism team below and let me know what you think of it. And by the way, is ‘Jism’ even a Nepali word?
